Description and working principle.
Internal gear pumps are used for a wide variety of fluids, very viscous or loaded with solid particles. The flow does not pulse, it is reversible and the pump is self priming. The outer teeth are driven and drag along the inner toothed rotor. When turning the cavities enlarge so that a suction an pressure effect is created. The flow is almost independent of the pressure.
